this is a tank.
it's unlike most others that let free one high-explosive round, and instead fires a barrage of bullets at its target(s) from all four of its barrels, allowing it to act as a means of sustaining heavy fire on the enemy (or you, since this thing is supposed to be one of the many adversaries in the game I'm working on).
after prolonged fire, its barrels will begin to overheat, at which point it needs to stop firing to allow them to cool down so as to not damage the barrels.
any hostiles caught within close radius of the tank will be blasted away by the tank's heat blast ability, which repels anyone nearby, friend or foe, and vents a lot of its heat. the tank abstains from making use of this ability whenever its barrels overheat so that it doesn't cause unnecessary damage to any of its allies.
like with many of my works, I took minor inspiration from Synthetik, more specifically the Z277 Madness Accelerator miniboss with said inspiration being especially apparent in the turret of the tank.
this was rendered within Blender's Internal renderer, with version 2.79 (because I don't really like 2.8's UI all that much lol).
